Pruning
Pruning of olive trees in our area, lasts from February to April.
There are two basic types of pruning, each of which is performed at different handling, even in the same olive grove. We prune with main guide the improvement of the quality of the olive oil.
After gathering information from the experience and the technique of the elders and enriching this with the knowledge of experts, we apply in practice the suitable pruning for the tree.
We prune exclusively with battery machines, thus avoiding the emission of pollutants and lubricants from conventional chainsaws.
All wounds are covered with organic bordigal pulp to avoid infection from pathogenic microorganisms.
At the end, we crumble only the healthy branches, incorporating into the ground nutrients and promoting the recycling of elements within the olive grove.
